Harrison County Schools implement SchoolCashOnline

The Harrison County school system is the first in West Virginia to completely implement a new program that will keep school payments online and out of the classroom. SchoolCashOnline is a program that allows schools to communicate with parents whenever student-related payments are due, said Sharon Hinkle, chief business officer for Harrison County Schools.

“We have embarked on this pilot program to see if this is something that schools and parents would like,” Beck said. “It allows for different options for parents to manage school fees as well as to purchase school apparel and different things; it is just an option to a check or cash.”

It’s called School Cash Online and it’s being launched in 11 elementary schools and all secondary schools this spring. All Rainbow schools will offer School Cash Online by September 2019.
