How Ysleta ISD Took Control of $2 Million in Campus Cash

Looking to streamline financial operations and increase teaching time across its 48 schools, the Ysleta Independent School District adopted SchoolCash.

“Schools were accepting a large number of cash payments for student IDs, library fees, food sales, fundraising campaigns, and merchandise at small campus stores, among other things,” says Fernando Ramirez, Accountant at Ysleta ISD. “Now, we use SchoolCash to replace cash payments with electronic transactions wherever possible. SchoolCash has simplified our activity fund management, allowing our teachers to spend more time teaching, and our clerks time to focus on other tasks.”
